Ceramide Moisturising Cream for Children 0-12 years

Any substance is a potential allergen. Our product has been designed to minimise its allergenic potential by avoiding the 26 allergens listed in regulation 1223/2009. Our formula contains the minimum number of ingredients to prevent any allergic reaction. But for a cream, it is very important to test it on a small area of the skin (behind the ears, for example) before allowing full application.

Our cream has been tested on sensitive skin. It is designed for external use only and must not be used on irritated skin nor mucous membranes. For children with crocodile skin, we are currently working on a more suitable range.

Babies' skin, particularly in the diaper area, is often irritated by nappies (urine, etc.). We do not recommend using our cream on babies, as it contains algae-derived sugars that may cause a tingling sensation on sensitive or irritated skin.

There is a difference in pigmentation between dark and light skin tones. Dark and Asian skin tones are naturally more pigmented, but the structure and skin barrier of children's skin remains the same. So, even if the skin is different, the necessary hygiene ritual remains the same.

Our cream is designed to preserve and strengthen children's skin barrier. It offers high moisturizing power and is ideal for application after a shower or bath; its very light texture allows for quick dressing after application.

This sensation is completely normal and is due to our ingredient: Erythritol. Erythritol is a sugar naturally found in some algae or lichens in contact with water.
It has a magical physico-chemical property: it absorbs heat! This is why, upon application, it provides a refreshing sensation and also allows the cream to quickly penetrate the skin. Feel free to place your cream in the refrigerator during the summer to enhance this refreshing effect: your best ally against heatwaves!

The ‘alcohols’ in our formulation are fatty alcohols, so they bear no resemblance to ethyl alcohol (the kind you drink), either in appearance or in their properties. Our alcohols are derived from vegetable oils that do not contain palm oil. We use them for their emulsifying properties, which means they help create a creamy texture from fatty ingredients and water. They also have excellent nourishing and moisturising properties.

Ceramides are lipids that occur naturally in the skin. They make up at least 40% of the skin’s protective barrier, making them essential for strengthening and maintaining the skin’s barrier function. They differ from plant oils, which have a different structure to that of our skin. Ceramides blend naturally with our sebum, making them a ‘non-greasy’ oily compound.

Most brands use animal-derived ceramides (often from cow brain 🐮), but we decided to do things differently.
The ceramides in our cream come from yeast fermentation (Yes, microbes are an incredible factory!).
The downside of these ceramides: their price; they are about 300 times more expensive!

Jojoba oil is actually more of a wax; its composition is one of the closest to skin naturally. It therefore contributes to the formula's effectiveness in strengthening the skin barrier without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling.

One of our goals is to help children become more independent in the bathroom, while simplifying the already busy lives of parents. The roll-on format allows children to have fun using the cream themselves without the risk of spilling or wasting product – a real moment of play and self-care discovery!

Firstly, a cosmetic cannot cure eczema; that is the role of a medicine. Our cream is designed to provide effective hydration, strengthen the skin barrier, and also encourage children's independence.

A cosmetic product is never designed to be applied to irritated or damaged skin, as its role is not to heal.
Our cream contains Erythritol (algae sugar); this molecule provides a cooling effect upon application, but it is also a highly concentrated sugar.
Consequently, our formula has a higher osmotic pressure than skin: this causes a painful reaction in case of a wound or irritation (sunburn, chafing, or other).
If your child complains when the cream is applied, don't panic, it is not necessarily an allergic reaction; there was probably a boo-boo on the skin. Rinse thoroughly with clear water; the water will dilute the formula and reduce this pressure.

No, this cream is not intended for intimate use, regardless of your child’s age. The formula has not been tested on these areas, so we do not recommend using it in this way.

The cream has no anti-odor efficacy, but there is no risk in applying it under the arm, provided that the skin is healthy and free of wounds.
