Disappointing packaging

My 4 year old daughter loves him very much. For my part, it is the packaging that I find disappointing. Too bad that it is not rechargeable, and that it is impossible to open the tube, because I have the impression of having to throw it before it is even completely finished. A pump bottle would be easier to use. My daughter must press really strong to succeed in serving alone.

Our recharges will soon be available! We found that conventional fire bottles sometimes find it difficult to deliver the ideal dose of toothpaste. This is why we opted for a distributor pen, which precisely delivers 0.3 ml of toothpaste, the size of a pea, for each brushing.

If your child has trouble pressing the pen, don't worry: you can easily remove the inside from the pen and exert lateral pressure to facilitate its use. This solution is suitable even for a 2 year old child.

Top!

My daughter loved the taste and the principle of being able to use it alone has much more. He has become an essential for his daily life. Natural and effective.

Fun but not very economical

I really wanted to love it, and my daughters too! I validate the playful side, although taking over it is complicated for a young child. I also validate composition, taste and smell. On the other hand, I find that the format is not at all economical. I understand the desire to make a small container adapted to the hand of a child, but 30ml, it is really too little! So I look forward to recharge (large format) in order to repeat my purchase because despite these little negative points my daughters loved it!

Our recharges will soon be available!

You have to love coconut

The taste did not please my daughter at all, be careful if your children have never tasted the coconut! So it's me who takes it now, the texture is pleasant, the toothpaste foams well. When will the recharge be able to change the taste;)?

What if the toothpaste is not flowing or flowing too quickly?

Our toothpaste has been formulated to flow naturally thanks to gravity. This makes it practical to use, especially for children, without the need for high pressure on the bottle.

If the toothpaste does not flow : Make sure to store the bottle with the stopper down. If the problem persists, slightly tap the bottle against a flat surface or shake it gently to bring the product down.

If the toothpaste flows too quickly : Return the cap up after use to slow down the flow.

How did you determine the fluorine dosage?

L'UFSBD offers the following recommendations in terms of quantity of toothpaste and dosage:

  • 6 months - 3 years: a trace of toothpaste dosed at 1000 ppm
  • 3 - 6 years old: a pea of toothpaste at 1000 ppm
  • From 6 years old until adulthood: on the length of the toothbrush with a toothpaste at 1000 ppm
How to guarantee suitable use for children?

Our toothpaste is designed to be easily manipulated. It is even possible to remove the toothpaste from its outer part (where the label is affixed), allowing young children to use it independently, like a pen. However, we recommend the supervision of an adult to guarantee suitable dosage.

From what age should we brush the teeth?

You can start brushing your little stingy teeth as soon as they have it! There is no age to start taking good habits!

What is the degree of abrasiveness of your toothpaste?

The degree of abrasiveness is in some ways the "hardness" of toothpaste: its abrasive power. For our toothpaste it is 10: it gently cleanses the small quenots while preserving their enamel (for an adult with sensitive teeth, this degree is generally around 50).

Can I use your toothpaste myself?

Our toothpaste has a very light degree of abrasiveness, we recommend using a more abrasive toothpaste for adults. In addition, the dose of fluorine is not sufficient for an adult (which is 1450 ppm according to the recommendations of theUFSBD).

Does your toothpaste contain sugar?

Yes and no.

It contains Xylithol, Erythritol and Sorbitol.
These are "sugars" (of scientific name polyols) 100 % of natural, non-calorific or cariogenic origin, which are therefore suitable for diabetic children and which do not make nasty cavities. Our toothpaste brings a slightly sweet flavor to the formula so that the brushing of the teeth is pleasant.

What is the pH of your toothpaste?

Our toothpaste has a pH of 7, therefore neutral. No acidity to properly preserve the fragile enamel of small quenots.

Does your toothpaste contain nanoparticles?

Within the framework of these regulations (article 2 of 1223/2009), a nanomaterial is defined as an "insoluble or bio-personal material, intentionally manufactured and characterized by one or more external dimensions, or an internal structure, on a scale from 1 to 100 nm ".
The particles of our silica are between 7 and 13 micrometers, 70 times larger than the widest nanoparticles.

Why are you using silica, and is it dangerous?

We have chosen to use silica in our toothpaste, because it is for us the safest solution.
Silica is ultra pure sand with a scrupulously controlled size to be between 7 and 13 micrometers.
We preferred to avoid the use of clay because of the irregularity of its size, its lead content (because, what we mined, contained about 1.3 mg of lead per kilo. This corresponds to the standard Cosmetics (2mg/kg) but we are never too careful and prefer not to use it, right?) And its composition that can vary depending on the seasons and its origin.
We have also decided to avoid baking soda, because it gives a very bitter taste impossible to hide: not terrible for children.

I'm pregnant, can I use your toothpaste?

Our toothpaste does not contain essential oils or substances that can harm your health during pregnancy. However, it has a very light degree of abrasiveness, we recommend using a more abrasive toothpaste for adults. And then the dose of fluorine is not sufficient for an adult (which is 1450 ppm according to the recommendations of theUFSBD).

What do the PPMs indicated on your toothpaste mean?

PPMs (parts per million) measure the fluorine concentration in toothpaste. Fluor is a key ingredient to protect the teeth from cavities by strengthening the enamel.

For adults, a concentration of 1450 is generally recommended.

For children, the dosage depends on age and their specific needs, but it must be lower than that of adults. This is why our toothpaste contains 1000 ppm of fluorine.

Our toothpastes are formulated with 1000 ppm, in agreement with the recommendations for UFSBD, to guarantee optimal protection, while remaining soft for teeth and gums.

If you have any doubts about the concentration that suits your child, do not hesitate to ask your dentist for advice!
